Benjamin Ford grew up in Marietta-Travelers Rest area of Greenville County in South Carolina. Mr. Ford has spent more than 23 years working in the law enforcement profession and is currently the Chief of Police at the Travelers Rest Police Department. He began his career working the SC Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon services before moving on to the Mauldin Police Department where he spent the majority of his career. Mr. Ford also worked 1 year for the SC Law Enforcement Division. Mr. Ford is happily married and is blessed with 3 sons. He currently resides in Travelers Rest with his family serving the community daily as the Police Chief. Personal Note: I am extremely excited to be the Chief of Police in Travelers Rest and to serve this community. Travelers Rest is a growing city and I intent to continue serving this community as it grows in order to make this city a wonderful safe place to live, work, and visit for many years to come!

My name is Gregory Wayne Robertson, I have been married to Freddie Robertson since 1994.We have two sons, Jacob (Ashley), and Andrew (Alyssa), and one daughter Meghan Robertson. We are also blessed to have six grandchildren McKenzie, Noah, Keeton, Lilah, Beckett, Stella and one great grandchild Nevaeh. I grew up in the Enoree Community and continue to live there today. I graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 1982. I went to work for Travelers Rest Cablevision in 1979 and was there until I started my firefighting career with North Greenville Fire District in 1983. In 1984 I began working for the Travelers Rest Fire Dept where I worked my way through the ranks to Assistant Chief in 1996. I have served as Fire Chief since October 2015. I also served on the Fire Commission Board at North Greenville Fire District from 1996-2020. I am very fortunate to be able to serve and protect the community in which I was raised and currently live. However, I’m looking forward to retirement in a couple of years so I can travel, camp and spend time with my family.
